Eleazar Records is pleased to announce the release of “A Long Time for Anyone” by Adam Palmer and The Specialest. This new album features 14 songs written by songwriter Adam Palmer and produced by multi-instrumentalist Lane Arndt.

Recorded in Victoria and Edmonton, “Long Time” comes after the duos 2009 release “Lights”. “Long Time” was written while Palmer was working in the oilfield of Alberta, and Arndt producing and teaching music in Victoria, BC. After spending time performing music in their respective cities, the duo met to record. “A Long Time For Anyone” chosen from 30 candidates, which were selected to be included for this record because of their electronic style.

“A Long Time For Anyone” is an album about longing, adventure and the future. From the intense burning-slow-drive album opener In The Snow to the David Rawlings-esque guitar playing on You Know I’d Like To, or the playful duet between Palmer and Kurtis on Let Me In My Dear, Long Time is quick and adept at changing styles. Contributing to the vocal performances on Long Time are Ryan Beattie, a resonant voice within the Victoria folk music scene, as well as dynamic pop artist Sarah Kurtis who adds her own unique style to the effort.
